Grapefruit Orange Juice/Tri- Type Orange Juice

Grape Fruit Grapefruit is diabetic cure it's taste is very sour so i added here two type of other oranges.

  2. Ingredients

  3. 1 Grapefruit
  4. 1 orange
  5. 1 Indian orange (saththukudi)
  6. 200 ml water
  7. 5 pcs ice cubes
  8. 1 tbsp ginger honey or brown sugar

Method

Wash cut and remove seeds from three oranges 
in a blender/juicer add water,brown sugar and ice cubes blend well and strain it. 
for Sweetner add ginger honey or brown sugar. 
Grapefruit is diabetic cure it's taste is very sour so i added here two type of other oranges.

Bitter Gourd Curry - 1


Bitter gourd curry
Bitter gourd is very good for diabetic people. If it is used thrice in a week this diabetic can be controlled well.

Ingredients 

Bitter guard – 300
Chopped Onion – 2 nos
Chopped Tomato – 2 nos
Green chili – 1 no
Red chilli pwd – 1 tspn
Turmeric pwd – ½ tspn
Salt – to taste

For tempering

Oil – 3 tspn
Mustard seeds – ½ tspn
Curry leaves – few
Ginger garlic paste- 1 tspn
Mango pwd – ¼ tspn
Lemon juice – ¼ tspn
jaggery – ½ tspn
Grated coconut – ¼ cup (optional)

Method

  1. Wash and chop the bitter gourd.
  2. Heat oil in pan temper with mustard seeds, curry leaves and ginger garlic paste sauté till it raw smell goes off. 
  3. Add chopped onion fry till change to pink and chopped tomato, green chilli, sauté 1 minutes and add red chilli pwd , turmeric pwd,salt & add chopped bitter gourd sprinkle some water and close the lid and cook under medium heat about 3 minutes.
  4. Finely add add lemon juice, jaggery, mango pwd, grated coconut and stir it well and cook for 2 minutes and remove for the heat.
  5.  Serve with plain rice or chappathi.


As it tastes very bitter it is not easily consumed by most of the people.
you can use tamarind juice instead of mango pwd and lemon juice

Healthy Diet Podi (Diabetic)









Healthy Diet Podi/Powder

Serves : 2 person


 Ingredients


Dry Ginger Pwd - 1 tbspn 

Pepper Pwd – ½ tspn

Roasted & powderd ,Methi pwd

Curry leaves pwd – 1 tspn

Garlic pwd – ½ tspn

Method
Mix all the above ingredients to prepare the Healthy Diet Podi.
During your Daily Meal add one tea spoon of  the above Diet Podi. 





USES:

Healthy Diet Pod is a very Good Home-Made Medicine for people who are suffering
from high BP,Heart Problems,Diabetic and Cholesterol patients!
While preparing Chapathies, you may also add one tea spoon of Healthy Diet Podi by using Olive Oil or   gingerly oil. 

You can use the Powder to Fish Curry, Rasam, puli kuzampu, vaththa kuzampu,etc...

HomeMade Health Drink Podi ,Ragi Health Drink,Ragi Porriage





Ragi (Finger millet ) (Nachain Atta) is healthy drink for all age groups.
Ragi has high nutritional contents especially calcium and iron. Ragi based food is highly recommended for kids from six months onwards. 
Ragi Flour is great for diabetic people too we can prepare Ragi rotti, adai, Ragi idli, Snacks (like Ragi thattai) Sweet dosa,Ragi kozukkattai Eggless Ragi Cup Cake

Health Drink Powder – Ragi powder

Ingredients
Ragi– ½ kg
Samba wheat (சம்பா கோதுமை) - 50 gram
Par boiled rice – 50 gram
Badam– 50 gram
Sogo– 25 gram
Roasted Gram – 25 gram
Cardamom– 5 nos





Method

Dry roast each of all the given ingredients Separately ,Let it cool for sometime and Grind together into a fine power and sieve it.
Transfer the healthy powder into an Air-tight container.





From begining of childhood for my sons I am providing with in the early morning which keeps them good health, we also drink same in the morning.




Ragi Health Drink

Ingredients

Ragi powder (healthy pwd)  2 tspn
Milk – ¾ cup
Water – 1 ½ cup
Sugar – 4 tspn
Ghee – 1 to 2 drops
Saffron – 2 strands
Cardamom – 1 (or) cardamom fine pwd – ¼ tspn




Method

Boil the milk
Add ragi pwd into 1 cup of water mix well and strain; Now add ½ cup water, sugar, cardamom boil for 5 minutes.
Add milk and allow it to boil for 5 minutes,
Now add ghee and saffron.



This health drink is suitable for 4 months babies to old age people.
 Its Very energetic drink. We can make this ragi solid or liquid.




Jaleela Tips:

It is even  good for people who are in diet,  you can use salt  (required qty) instead of sugar and butter milk instead of milk.As a glass of Ragi in the morning give you filled feeling for 2 to 3 hours.

Bitter Gourd Juice


Bitter gourd is a diabetic cure vegetable. You can drink daily in the morning 11 O'clock. it will bring down your sugar level.


INGREDIENTS


Bitter gourd  -  3 inch size
Whole black pepper – 4 nos
Cumin – ¼ tspn
Salt – 1 pinch
Lemon juice – ½ tspn

Method

Wash and slice the bitter gourd.
In a mixie ,  put all ingredients except lemon juice and grind it well.
 strain the juice.Finally add lemon juice.


Note:
