Pomegranate Sweet Corn Salad

Every Month we are posting MFB - Event ( Muslim food Blogger )- Hosted by Rafeeda (ThebigSweetTooth)    This month event theme is pomegranate. This month I prepared quick, helathy and colorful salad.


Eating salad every day giving us many health benefits. Salad helps to prevent from many diseases like heart problem and blood pressure, it helps to reduce our weight, control the cholesterol It also helps in weight gain, It is a high energy low fat snack too














Pomegranate Sweet Corn Salad



Ingredients

pomegranate - 1/2 cup
Belgium frozen sweet corn kernels - 1/2 cup
cucumber chopped - 1/4 cup
carrot chopped - 1/4 cup

For Dressing

pepper powder - 1/4 tspn
salt - 1/4 tspn
lemon juice - 1/2 tspn
oilve oil - 1 tspn

Garnishing

Orange Slices
Pomegranate




Method

Boil the corn, in a bowl add pomegranate,chopped carrot and cucumber add boiled corn mix it well.
add above given dressing ingredients ( pepper powder, salt, lemon juice and oilve oil) mix well.
Garnishing with orange slices and pomegranate. keep the salad into fridge for half hour and  serve it.

Iranian /Persian Jewelled Saffron rice

Every Month we are posting MFB - Event ( Muslim food Blogger )- Hosted by Rafeeda (ThebigSweetTooth) Whenever time permit i am participate in this event.  I like to Prepare always Arabic Recipes , Iranian, Lebanese Recipes. This Month Challenge is Iranian Cusine. 


So I am Sharing Rich Rice called the Name"Persian/IranianJewelled Saffron Rice.


Ingredients

Iranian Jewelled Saffron rice

Rice – 250 gram
Saffron – 1 tspn
Nuts ( Almond and pistachio)
Pomegranate
Berries
Raisins





Method

Soak soffron with hot water and little sugar to it.
Wash and soak rice , in a wide vessel add water bring to boil add soaked rice and salt cook 7 minutes. Drain the water completely,
In a non stick pan add butter add half of cooked rice, balance half add soaked saffron with sugar water and top of rice put hole four sides top to bottom . Make a dum for 10 minutes.
Transfer rice to a bowl mix chopped almond, red berries ,raisins,pistachio,red bean and pomegranate. 
Arrange the plate plain  rice saffron rice , serve with any gravy,kabab or cutlet and some salads & dips

Pomegranate Skin Tea for Stomach Ulcer

Ingredients

Pome Skin 
Water -  400 ml

Method

Just boil water and add pome skin cook 5 minutes strain it and drink like a tea.
If you need more taste boil with ginger powder and add palm jaggery or honey and mix well and drink.

Don't Throw pomegranate skin it will cures your stomach ulcer, so many medicinal values are there in pome skin.Very good cancer cure.


மாதுளை தோல் டீ,வயிற்று புண்ணை ஆற்றும் மாதுளை தோல். வெறும் தோலை அப்படியே தண்ணீரில் கொதிக்க வைத்து வடிக்கட்டி குடிக்கவும், தேவை பட்டால் தேன் அல்லது பணங்கற்கண்டு , பணை வெல்லம் சேர்த்து குடிக்கலாம்.

Pomegranate popsicles



Pomegranate juice is Rich in antioxidants, it help prevent cancer & also used in skin care product.
It is a healthy drink all ages and especially for  pregnant women and anemic people. 
It is remedy for mouth ulcer and stomach ulcer.

Pomegranate popsicles
Pome Popsicle perfect summer treat

Ingredients
Pomegranate - 6 fruit
water - 50 ml
ice cube - 5
Strainer or muslin cloth
Strawberry essence – 2 drops
sugar – ½ cup 
saffron

Method
In a blender (mixie), add Pomegranate and water,ice cubes and sugar blend well.
Strain the juice in a strainer or muslin cloth. Add saffron and
pour the pome juice  mix into ice cream mould keep it inside the freezer and refrigerate for 6 to 8 hours.
Enjoy.

மாதுளை குச்சி ஐஸ்

மாதுளை – 6 பழம்
தண்ணீர் – 50 மில்லி
ஐஸ் கட்டிகள் – 5
ஸ்ட்ராபெர்ரி எசன்ஸ் – 2 துளி
சர்க்கரை – அரை கப்
குங்குமபூ – சிறிதளவு
வடிகட்ட மஸ்லின் துணி

முதலில் மாதுளை முத்துக்களை பிரித்து எடுத்து கொள்ளுங்கள்
மிக்ஸியில் மாதுளை முத்துக்கள், ஐஸ்கட்டிகள், மற்றும் சர்க்கரை சேர்த்து நன்கு அரைக்கவும்.
அரைத்த கலவையை மஸ்லின் துணி அல்லது வடியில் வடித்து கொள்ளவும்.
அதில் சிறிது சாப்ரான் சேர்த்து ஐஸ் கிரீம் மோல்டில் ஊற்றி பிரீஜரில் 8 மணி நேரம் வைத்து எடுக்கவும்.
சுவையான மாதுளை குச்சி ஐஸ் ரெடி.

It is a healthy drink all ages and especially for pregnant women and it is a well known excellent treatment for anemic. 
It is remedy for mouth ulcer and stomach ulcer.


Serves : 4
Preparation Time : 15 Minutes


Kesar ,Anar Juice with Roo Afsha

Ingredients

Pomegranate - 4 fruit
water - 200 ml
ice cube 
Striner or muslin cloth
sugar - Needed qty 
salt - 1 pinch
Roo afsha  - 3 soup spoon
Saffron - 1/2 tspn

Method


In a blender (mixie), add pomegranate water,ice cubes and sugar blend well.
Strain the juice in a strainer or muslin cloth.Soak saffron in 1 tbspn hot water.
Mix soaked saffron and roo asfsha into strained pome juice.
Transfer the juice into a chilled serving glass.
Enjoy.

Yellow Apple with Pome Salad
This Salad perfect for summer season to beat down the heat.

Sometimes for my morning breakfast I eat this type of salad. It’s a great filling and very light food. Eating salad every day giving us many health benefits. Salad helps to prevent from many diseases like heart problem and blood pressure, it helps to reduce our weight, control the cholesterol It also helps in weight gain, It is a high energy low fat snack too//





Ingredients
Yellow Apple – 1 no
Pomegranate pearls – 4 tbspn
Cucumber – 1 of ½
Orange slice small – 4 pcs
For dressing
Orange juice – 1 tbspn
Lemon juice – 1 tspn
Pepper – ¼ tspn
Salt – ¼ tspn
Sugar – ½ tspn
For garnishing
Cucumber
Mint leaves

Method
Chop the apple and cucumber
In a Bowl mix apple, cucumber, orange and pomegranate
Mix well above given dressing ingredients and add it to fruit bowl.
Garnishing with cucumber and mint leaves.
Keep the salad into fridge for ½ hour.
Serve it immediately.
