Cornflakes Cookies with Raisins




Tea Time Snack

Cornflakes cookies

Ingredients

Cornflakes cookies (Biscuits)
Wheat – ½ cup
Oats – ½ cup (powdered)
Butter – 1/3 cup
Baking powder – ½ tspn
Baking soda – ¼ tspn
Brown sugar – ½ cup
Corn flakes – 2 cup crushed
Coco pwd – 100 gram
Egg – 1 no
Pineapple essence – ¾ tspn
Milk –   little
Raisins  black and yellow –2 tspn each

Salt – ½ pinch












Method


In a bowl mix all the items Oats, coco powder wheat flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt.
In a large mixing bowl beat butter and brown sugar medium speed with electric mixer until combined
Add egg, milk and essence beat until fluffy.
Add flour mixer and mix it well.
Stir in raisins and make small ball and coat cornflakes well and drop in to baking tray with spaces and bake preheated oven 200 o C until golden brown for 12 minutes.
Cool completely In a wire racks Store in airtight container.
In original recipe they used 'Ocean Spray Craisins' (dried cranberries)

Baked Whole Fish



My best favourite food is seafood, Fish is very good for Age groups. seafood is an inportant source of protein in many diets around the world especially in costal areas.




Home Made Kuboos with Baked  Fish


This is an Arabian day to day dish and in the same way they will bake mutton and chicken and eat with kuboos.
I added here Indian masala.

Baked Whole Fish - Sherry Fish
Ingredients


Medium size whole fish - 2 nos
Garlic powder – 1 tspn
Kashmiri chilli powder – 1 tspn
Pepper powder – 1 tspn
Salt – 1 ½ tspn (or) to taste
Lemon juice – 3 tbspn
Paparika powder – ½ tspn
Olive oil – 1 tbspn
Vinegar – 1 tspn

Potato – 2 sliced

Onion – 1 sliced

Method

In a  bowl soak the fish with Turmeric (or) vinegar (or) Lemon juice for 10 minutes
Wash and drain the fish pat dry and slit  it with the knife slightly three or four pieces.
So that the masala can get in well into the pieces.
Marinate the fish with above said ingredients for hours.
Arrange the sliced potatoes in a baking tray keep the marinate fish on it. Spread sliced onion top of the fish.
Bake the fish in a 200 degree preheated oven bake for 35 minutesTasty baked full fish is ready to eat.

This dish is suitable for people who  are in diet.It can be served with kuboos,chapathi or plain rice
