Beetroot Rava Kesari
There is no artificial
colour, real colour from this kesari
Ingredients
Rava / semolina = 100
Sugar – 50 gram
Sweetened condensed milk – 2 tbspn
Ghee – 2 tbspn
Cashew nut, Badam/Almond – 50 crushed and roasted into ghee
Grated beetroot – 1/4 cup
Ghee – 2 tbspn
Butter – 1 tbsp
Hot water – 200ml
Salt – ¼ pinch
Pistachio - few
Method
For beetroot rava laddo/kesari
In a pan roast the nuts in
ghee and keep separate
In the Same pan add butter
cook grated beetroot for 5 minutes add
rava (semolina) to it and roast
over medium heat, slightly brown
Meanwhile in another pan,
bring water to boil and add pinch of salt.
Reduce the heat and pour the
boiling water in to the roasted semolina and stir continuously for 5 to 7 min .Add
the sugar and stir for 3 minutes. Add sweetened condensed milk stir it well
without any lumps.
Finally add the crushed
badam, cashew. Transfer it to a serving plate.
Let it cool and make it into desired shapes.
