Aloo Jeera : Serves : 1
Preparation time – 4 mintues
Cooking time : 8 minutes
Ingredients
Potato - 1 medium (peeled and cut into
small cubes)
For
tempering
Oil - 1 tspn
Curry leaves - few
Cumin - 1 tspn
Asafetida - pinch
kasmiri red chili powder – ¾ tspn
salt - to taste
Method
In a wide non stick pan heat oil temper the
cumin, curry leaves, asafetida and add cubed potato
fry the mixture for 2 minutes
Sprinkle chilli powder and salt mix well close
the lid and cook for 3 minutes and open the lid roast fry for 3 minutes.
Crispy Aloo Jeera Ready to serve with curd rice
Potato fry is my all time favourite, I will
prepare it in many ways one of the variety is this crispy Aloo jeera. It is
very well goes with plain rice, curd rice, lemon rice, etc…….
