Arabic Traditional and Street food sweet recipe Kunafa

Kunafa is  one of the  Arabic Traditional recipe and street food too, in Ramadan it is prepared in more quantity  and sell in road side .
kunafa  Dough is  available on all supermarkets in  frozen section, if you don''t get this kunafa vermicelli ,  don''t worry we can prepare it with our  sheer kurma vermicelli  roll type or thin type  and we can prepare with  bread  too ,it taste the same,.





Arabic Bread Kunefah/Kunafa - 1


Bread - 4 Slices
Butter - 3 tbspn
Chopped Pisthachio - 50 gram
Fresh Cream - 1/2 tin
Nestle Cream - 1/2 tin
Almarai Cheese cubes - 3 nos
Sugar syrub - required qty
Saffron - 4 to 5 Strands
Lemon juice 1/2 tpn













In a food processor powder the bread slices.Melt the butter and add it to bread powder divide it into two portions.  In a mould ( any shape of your choice ) i took rectangle cake tin ,spread   half of the bread powder evenly on the mould.(First layer)reserve balance  keep it aside.Take another   bowl add nestle cream , cheese, fresh cream mix it well and add pisthacho flakes and walnut flakes.mix  it well.now pour this cheese mix over the bread powder. (second layer)For  the third layer spread the reserved bread with butter mixer over the cheese.







 preheat the oven at  180 degree for  20 minutes select  center option bake for  20 minutes .yummy kunafa is ready ,Transfer it  into a serving plate, you can cut  to desired  shapes i have  cut this to heart shape.

proceces for sugar syrup: one cup sugar and one cup water bring to boil and add rose water, lemon juice  and saffron mix it  well.




while serving in a bowl place the kunafa and put holes with fork and pour the sugar syrup into it
amazing delicious  Arabic dessert is ready to serve.


( here i didn''t prepare sugar syrup i have left over gulab jamoon sugar syrup  so i just  added lemon juice and saffron poured over the kunafa).





Arabic Vermicelli Kunafa in Indian Twist - 2


Indian Sheer kurma Vermicelli - one bunch (50 gram)
Fresh Cream - 1/4 tin
Nestle Cream - 1/4 tin
Almarai Cheese cubes - 1 to 2  nos
Pistacho - needed qty
Sugar syrup - required qty
Saffron - 2 strands
Lemon juice - 1/4 tspn






Semiya (vermicelli kunafa)
We can preapare this kunafa with sheer kurma semiya( thin vermicelli) too.
 At first crush the vermicelli and add melted butter  to it, divide  it into two portions  .

For  the first layer, take one portion and spread it on a small cake mould and
for second layer , in a bowl add nestle cream , cheese, fresh cream mix it well and add pisthacho flakes or  walnut flakes.mix  it well.now pour this cheese mix over the vermicelli .

For  the third layer spread the reserved butter mix vermicelli on it.

Preheat the oven at  180 degree for  20 minutes select  center option bake for  20 minutes .
